Certificates of Analysis
Every batch we sell is third-party tested for purity, sterility, content, endotoxins, and integrity. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for each batch will be posted here, organized by product and batch number, so you can verify what you've ordered at any time.
How to Read a Certificate of Analysis
A Certificate of Analysis reports the results of independent laboratory testing performed on a specific batch. The following parameters are typically included:
- Identity confirmation — mass spectrometry (MS) is used to confirm that the tested material matches the expected molecular weight and structure of the labeled compound.
- Purity (HPLC) — reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography separates a sample into its constituent compounds, reported as a percentage. A single dominant peak with a high area percentage indicates low levels of synthesis byproducts or degradation.
- Endotoxin testing — measured in EU/mg (endotoxin units per milligram) via a Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) assay, indicating the presence of bacterial cell wall contaminants from the manufacturing process.
- Sterility — confirms the absence of viable bacterial or fungal contamination, typically assessed via culture-based testing.
- Appearance & solubility — a visual and physical description of the lyophilized material and its behavior upon reconstitution, used as a secondary quality indicator.
Each COA also lists the testing laboratory, batch/lot number, and date of analysis, allowing results to be traced back to the specific unit received.
